Sweet potatoes from the Nile Delta — every size from S to XL, hand-graded and packed to your request, cured and shipped in reefer containers to any UK or EU port. You contract and settle with us; the growing and packing is done by certified growers and audited packhouses.
We do not sell one fixed pack. The values below are the trade's standard parameters — every one of them is set to your specification in the contract.
One colour per size — on every carton end, pallet tag and packing list, on every shipment. Your warehouse recognises the size before anyone reads a label.
| Sizes | All sizes — S · M · L1 · L · L2 · XL — hand-graded by weight per tuber, typically S 150–300 g, M 300–450 g, L1 / L 450–600 g, L2 / XL 600 g and above, or graded to your own size chart. Uniform within each carton. |
|---|---|
| Varieties | Orange-flesh varieties typically available: Beauregard, Bellevue and Covington. Variety confirmed per order and season. |
| Product condition | Cured after harvest (around 30 °C at high humidity) before packing, for skin set, sweetness and shelf life through sea transit. Clean, dry-brushed, skin colour uniform within each lot. |
| Cartons | 6 kg telescopic cartons, 10 kg or 15 kg open-top cartons, bulk bins, or your own carton and private label. Net weights, counts and label content to your request. |
| Pallets | Euro or standard pallets; carton count, pattern and strapping to your specification. |
| Cold chain | Cold-stored and shipped in reefer containers at the set point you specify — typically 13–15 °C, never below 12 °C, to avoid chilling injury. Temperature record available for the voyage. |
| Load ports & transit | Damietta, Alexandria or Port Said. Typically 7–10 days to Rotterdam or Antwerp; similar to UK ports. Any UK or EU port you nominate. |
| Season | Main harvest and shipping window July to February; cold storage extends availability into spring. Large daily volumes in season from our partner packhouse in the Nile Delta. Ask for the current season calendar by size. |
| Growers & packhouses | Sourced from GlobalG.A.P.-certified growers; GRASP and BRCGS/IFS-certified packhouses where you require them. Pre-shipment inspection certificate with every consignment. |
| Counterparty | You contract and settle with South Perspective Advisors Ltd, a UK-registered company, under English law — one contract for sourcing, quality, documents and delivery. |
| Commercial terms | Seasonal programme or spot consignments. FOB or CIF, your nominated port. Firm offer within 72 hours of receiving size mix, quantity and port. |
| Payment terms | Flexible payment terms, structured according to your needs — agreed with you and written into each contract. |

Every consignment is graded, packed and documented to the UK and EU standards that apply to fresh produce, and to stricter retailer specifications where you require them.
Grown and packed by GlobalG.A.P.-certified growers and audited packhouses, lot-coded from field to carton for full traceability.
Independent inspection certificate with every consignment — size, quality and condition checked before the container is sealed.
Each consignment is prepared against the requirements of its destination market. UK and EU requirements are handled separately, as the two regimes have diverged.
UK: London Gateway · Felixstowe · Southampton · Tilbury · Liverpool. EU: Rotterdam · Antwerp · Hamburg · Marseille · Valencia — or any EU port you nominate. Cold chain unbroken from packhouse to quay.
