Funding advisory is the consulting side of finance. Before any facility is arranged, we work out how the venture should be funded, what it can realistically raise, and what lenders, investors or grant bodies will need to see. Where the answer involves trade or project finance, our Supply & Procurement team can arrange it under the same accountability.

How it works

How an engagement runs

Weeks, not months. Alongside your team, not instead of it.

1

Assess

Where the business or project stands, and what it needs to raise.

2

Options

The realistic funding routes, with cost, control and timing for each.

3

Prepare

The plan, model and documents funders expect to see.

4

Approach

Shortlisted funders, introductions and support through to agreed terms.

Questions

Asked before you ask

Do you lend or invest yourselves?

No. We advise and prepare — the capital comes from banks, funds, grant bodies and other funders. This is commercial advisory, not regulated financial or investment advice.

How is this different from trade and project finance?

Funding advisory decides how you should be funded. Trade and project finance, under Supply & Procurement, arranges specific facilities for shipments and assets. Many clients use both.
